Valentine's

And here we are again. It barely feels like five minutes since the Christmas festivities began and it's suddenly Valentine's day! I made this card for my darling, it was a quick one, only taking two weeks but it was worth the effort I'm sure you'll agree LOL! I love this one and think that I'll adapt it to make pretty birthday cards too. As the pupsters get older I'm sure I'll manage to get a little more uninterrupted time to craft- no giggling Kate!

Here are a couple of pics of the offending puppies.... They're just darling and we rescued them from the pound just before Christmas. They're hard work but worth it :) ask me again in 6 months time!

Ah, before I forget, here are the bits that the kiddies made for their parents for Valentine's!
They made a suncatcher decoration from card with a layer of sticky plastic in the middle, which sandwiched tissue paper, glitter and other bits they liked. They added some beads to the string and voila! Very pretty :)
They also made a butterfly Valentine's card for their Mums and Dads. They traced the shape, cut it out, decorated with whatever they liked, did a bit of stamping (the kids just love to stamp!)  and then attached a packet of lovehearts to the middle for the body of the butterfly. They were delighted with their creations but not so happy when they realised that they wouldn't get to eat the sweeties! hehehe. Never mind, I'm not entirely evil and spent two days making little bags for the kiddies which I filled with little packets of lovehearts for themselves. Phew!
Right! Off have a lazy movie day with hubbie!
